Sowing instructions

Angelica sylvestris "Ebony" seeds require a cold germination phase in order to germinate successfully. You should sow the seeds in late fall or early winter. Scatter the seeds on well-drained, moist soil and cover them lightly with a thin layer of soil. Keep the soil constantly moist, but avoid waterlogging. A temperature of around 15°C is ideal for germination. If you want to start the seeds indoors, place them in the fridge for around 4-6 weeks before sowing them in seed trays or small pots. As soon as the seedlings are big enough, they can be transplanted outdoors, preferably in spring after the last frost nights.

• The plant prefers moist, humus-rich soil.
• Regular watering, especially during dry periods, promotes healthy growth.
