Sowing instructions

If you decide to grow Lavandula angustifolia "Ellagance Snow" seeds, you will enrich your garden with this robust and fragrant plant. You should start sowing in early spring. Sow the seeds thinly on the surface of a well-drained growing medium and cover them lightly with a thin layer of substrate. Make sure that the seeds germinate in a bright, but not directly sunny place at a temperature of around 15-20°C. Keep the soil evenly moist, but not wet.

Tips and tricks

Lavandula angustifolia "Ellagance Snow" prefers a sunny location and well-drained soil. Once established, this lavender variety is quite drought tolerant, so avoid waterlogging. Prune the plants back in spring to encourage bushier growth and more abundant flowering. As this lavender variety grows compact and low, it is ideal for beds, borders and containers. To ensure the best germination, you can place the seeds in the fridge for 2-3 weeks before sowing to stratify them.
