Santaensis huancayo "Junin" variegata - 13,5 x 4 cm, rarity

Unbewurzelt – sollte nach Erhalt eingetopft, gegraftet bzw. gepfropft werden! (Junin 1)

  1. Preparation of the planting substrate: Choose a well-drained substrate, ideally special cactus soil or a mixture of standard potting soil with sand or perlite. This ensures good drainage and minimizes the risk of root rot.
  2. Planting: Stick the dried cactus cutting about 2-3 cm deep into the prepared substrate. Press the soil down lightly to stabilize the cuttings.
  3. Irrigation: Keep the substrate slightly moist, but avoid waterlogging. Wait a few days after planting before watering for the first time so as not to overmoisten the cutting.
  4. Choice of location: Place the cutting in a warm, bright place, but not in direct sunlight, as this could burn the sensitive cutting.
  5. Have patience: Depending on the type of cactus, rooting can take several weeks to months. As soon as new roots have formed and the cuttings are stable, the watering can be gradually increased.
