Sowing instructions

Salvia vertillicata "Alba" is an impressive perennial that stands out with its white flowers. To sow the seeds successfully, you should choose a nutrient-rich and well-drained soil. Sow the seeds directly outdoors or in seed pots in spring. Cover them lightly with soil as they need light to germinate. Keep the soil evenly moist, but not too wet. After 2-3 weeks, the seeds will begin to germinate and you can look forward to an abundance of flowers in summer.

Tips and tricks

To ensure that your Salvia vertillicata "Alba" thrives, choose a sunny location. The plant can also tolerate partial shade, but it flowers best in the sun. Fertilize it in spring with an organic fertilizer to promote growth. Make sure to remove faded flowers regularly. This promotes the formation of new flowers and prolongs the flowering period. The plant is hardy, but should be given light protection, such as a layer of mulch, for the first winter.
