Sowing instructions:

The cultivation of Andrographis paniculata begins with sowing in spring. Choose a well-drained soil and a sunny location for the seeds. Press the seeds lightly into the soil and cover them only thinly, as they need light to germinate. Germination usually takes place within 1 to 2 weeks at temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. Keep the soil moist at all times, but avoid waterlogging as this can damage the seedlings.

Tips and tricks:

Andrographis paniculata is an easy plant to care for, but benefits from regular fertilization. Use an organic fertilizer to promote growth. Make sure to remove weeds regularly to ensure the plant's nutrient supply. If there are signs of pests, such as aphids, the use of biological pesticides is recommended. It is best to harvest the leaves shortly before the plant begins to flower, as this is when they contain the most active ingredients.
