Sowing instructions: For successful sowing of Angelica archangelica seeds, you should choose a semi-shady to sunny location. The best time to sow is in spring or fall. The seeds require cold germination, so they should be kept in the refrigerator for around two to four weeks before sowing. Sow the seeds directly in the prepared bed or in seed pots by covering them only lightly with soil. Keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid waterlogging. Germination can take several weeks, so be patient.

Tips and tricks:

• Angelica archangelica prefers nutrient-rich, moist soil.
• To improve germination, you can lightly roughen the seeds before sowing.
• Regular mulching helps to retain moisture in the soil and reduce weed growth.
• Cut back withered umbels to encourage the plant to produce new flowers.
• Angelica archangelica can self-seed, so leave a few seed heads in late summer to allow natural propagation.
