What you should do after receiving your plant

Immediately after unpacking:

Increase humidityPlace the plant in an environment with high humidity. A mini-greenhouse or a transparent plastic bag with small air holes that you loosely place over the plant is ideal - for the first few days.
LocationBright, but shady - No direct sunlight! Salvia divinorum does not tolerate direct sunlight well, especially after transportation.
Temperature: Make sure the climate is as constant as possible - preferably between 18-24 °C. Avoid large temperature fluctuations.
Casting: Pour economical to moderate. The root ball should remain slightly moist, but Never wet be. Avoid waterlogging at all costs!

Substrate / soil:

• Permeable and looseSalvia divinorum likes an airy, well-drained substrate.
  A mixture of is ideal:

  Potting soil without peat (or with a small amount of peat), a little Perlite, Vermiculite or Coconut fibersand if necessary something Sand or pumiceto improve drainage.
  Make sure that excess water can drain off easily - Do not leave any water in the saucer!

In the first few days after receiving your plant:

Leaf loss is normalYour plant may lose some or even all of its leaves - this is a completely normal reaction to the stress of transportation. It will usually sprout again soon.
Have a little patienceThe plant needs a few days (sometimes weeks) to recover. Keep a close eye on it during this time and adjust the care if necessary.

After settling in:

When new leaves appear, you can gradually accustom the plant to more light - but please continue to No direct sunlight.
Continue to water only when necessary - Better a little too dry than too wet.
