Sowing instructions

To achieve the best results with your black carrot seeds, start sowing in early spring. Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Prepare the bed by loosening the soil and working in compost. Sow the seeds about 1 cm deep and 2-3 cm apart. Keep a row spacing of 30 cm to ensure sufficient space for growth. Cover the seeds lightly with soil and keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged, until the seedlings appear, which can take around 10-14 days.

Tips and tricks

To obtain strong plants, thin out the seedlings to a distance of 5-10 cm as soon as they are 2-3 cm high. This encourages root growth and ensures even development. Water regularly, especially in dry weather conditions, and keep the soil weed-free. Mulching with straw or grass clippings helps to retain moisture in the soil and suppress weeds. If necessary, you can use organic fertilizer to further strengthen the plants.
