Growing instructions:

The golden balm (light germinator) is best grown indoors (indoor greenhouse & suitable plant propagation lamp) and cultivated outdoors during the warm months.

Fill growing pots with growing soil, spray with water, place the seeds on the soil, press down lightly and spray with water. If at all, sprinkle only a very thin layer of soil/sand. It is best to cover the growing pots with plastic wrap and aerate daily or keep the soil moist, but not wet. Otherwise, the pots can be placed in suitable indoor greenhouses until the seeds have germinated and the seedlings are a few inches tall. It is important to ensure a supply of fresh air at least once a day to prevent and avoid mold.

Growing on the windowsill is also possible! It is important not to let the seeds dry out, otherwise they may lose germination quality.

After germination of seeds seedlings can be slowly accustomed to the drier indoor air or fresh air outdoors after a few weeks. It is important that the plants always get enough light.

The golden balm is hardy, should, however, overwinter under a layer of mulch or similar.
