If you want to grow Pleuropterus multiflorus seeds, also known as Fallopia multiflora or He Shou Wu, you have chosen an interesting and versatile plant. Here are some basic sowing instructions:
- Choose the right location: Pleuropterus multiflorus prefers a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil.
- Soil preparation: Loosen the soil thoroughly and remove weeds and large stones. This plant thrives best in humus-rich, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Improve the soil with compost if necessary.
- Sowing time: The best times for sowing Pleuropterus multiflorus seeds are in spring or early summer. Sow the seeds about 1 centimeter deep in the prepared soil and keep it evenly moist.
- Germination and care: Germination can take a few weeks. Keep the seedlings moist and thin them out if necessary to ensure enough space for them to grow.
