Sowing instructions

To enjoy the tender and tasty roots of "Lunar White" carrots, start sowing in spring or fall. Choose a sunny location with well-drained, loose soil. The seeds should be sown about 1 cm deep in rows 30 cm apart. Keep the soil constantly moist until germination occurs, which usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. Make sure to thin the seedlings regularly to create enough space for the roots to grow.

Tips and tricks

For optimum results, prepare the soil well by loosening it thoroughly and possibly adding some compost. This promotes healthy root growth. Carrots need regular watering, but take care to avoid waterlogging to prevent root rot. To extend the harvest time, you can sow the seeds in two or three stages. Use mulch to retain moisture in the soil and reduce weed growth.

The "Lunar White" carrot is distinguished from other varieties by its exceptionally white color. It has a mild, sweet taste and is ideal for raw vegetables, salads and as a side dish. This variety is particularly nutritious and contains many vitamins and minerals. It is usually harvested after around 70 to 80 days, when the carrots have reached a length of 15 to 20 cm. The "Lunar White" carrots are also an exciting addition to your garden, as they are a highlight both visually and in terms of taste.
