Sowing instructions:

Sowing Mentha rotundifolia seeds is simple and straightforward. Start in spring or early summer when temperatures are stable above 15 degrees Celsius. Choose a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil. Loosen the soil and scatter the seeds evenly over the surface. Cover them lightly with soil and press them down gently. Keep the soil moist until the seedlings appear, which usually happens within 7-14 days.

Tips and tricks:

• Regular watering: Peppermint loves moist soil, so regular watering is important, especially during dry periods.
• Limit the growth: Peppermint has a strong urge to spread. To control its growth, plant it in pots or limit its root growth with a barrier in the soil.
• Harvest time: Harvest the leaves when the plant has grown vigorously, but before it flowers. Cut the stems just above the ground to encourage new growth.
