Sowing instructions: To achieve the best results with Melaleuca alternifolia seeds, you should sow the seeds in spring. Fill small pots or growing containers with a well-drained potting soil. Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the surface and cover them only lightly with a thin layer of soil, as they need light to germinate. Keep the soil moist, but not wet, and place the containers in a bright, warm place. The ideal germination temperature is between 20-25°C. Germination time is usually 2-4 weeks, so be patient and stay alert.

Tips and tricks: Melaleuca alternifolia loves sun and warmth, so a location with plenty of direct sunlight is ideal. As soon as the seedlings are strong enough, you can transplant them into larger pots or directly into the open ground. Make sure to use well-drained soil to avoid waterlogging. Occasional pruning promotes bushier growth and better branching. During the growth phase, you can provide the plants with a liquid fertilizer every two weeks to support their development.
