Sowing instructions

To achieve the best results with Solanum lycopersicum "Tigerella", start sowing the seeds about 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Use a high-quality potting soil and sow the seeds about 0.5 cm deep. Make sure to keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid waterlogging. Germination takes place at temperatures between 20-25°C and usually takes 7-14 days. As soon as the seedlings have developed two true leaves, they can be pricked out into individual pots.

Tips and tricks

Good lighting is crucial to obtain strong plants. Make sure the seedlings get at least 12-16 hours of light a day. After the last frost, you can plant the plants outdoors. Place them at a distance of 60 cm from each other to ensure sufficient space for growth. 'Tigerella' loves sunny locations and nutrient-rich soil. Regular watering and occasional fertilization support healthy growth and fruit development. Don't forget to attach the plants to poles or trellises, as they can reach a considerable height.
