Sowing instructions:

Start sowing the Vaccinium macrocarpon seeds in early spring as soon as the soil has thawed. Choose a location with well-drained soil and plenty of sunlight for your cranberry plants.

1. Preparation of the floor: Loosen the soil thoroughly and remove weeds and stones. Mix the soil with a layer of compost or organic fertilizer to improve the nutrient supply and promote the growth of your plants.
2. Sowing: Spread the seeds evenly over the prepared area and cover them lightly with soil. Press the soil down gently to ensure that the seeds have good soil contact.
3. Irrigation: Keep the soil evenly moist during the germination phase by watering regularly. Make sure that the soil does not get too wet, as this can lead to rotting.
4. Germination: Seed germination can take a few weeks and depends on soil and weather conditions. Be patient and keep the soil moisture constant to support germination.

Tips and tricks:

• Mulching: Cover the soil around the young plants with a layer of mulch to retain moisture and reduce weed growth.
• Regular care: Make sure to water and fertilize your cranberry plants regularly to promote healthy growth and a bountiful harvest.
• Pests and diseases: Monitor your plants regularly for pests or diseases and take appropriate measures to combat them if necessary.
